Life - the one where spare minutes have been few

Fifi Flamingo in progress

Hello Greenwood Stitch Shop pop up

Bella and Lily get up to mischief

It's been a whirlwind week. Every spare minute up to Friday was taken up with prep for the Stitch Shop pop-up. The non-spare minutes were spent catching up with family visitors (although these poor visitors were put to work on the shop preparations too) as well as entertaining my ever exuberant pups.

Friday's market was a really fun day. The atmosphere was lovely and only slightly dampened by the still high temperatures. So many lovely people came to visit the stall, talk about my project and share ideas about what direction to go in next. I'm looking forward to going back next week, and hoping to taken some spending money to visit the other vendors there.

Since then I've been catching my breath at last. The dogs have enjoyed frolicking on the park (though still with leads attached to prevent them getting too far away from me!) and I've enjoyed getting the apartment back in order. The washing basket finally being tackled, I now feel I can pick up a book or surf my beloved Pinterest again. But in case you're worried about my slovenliness, I will be back to the drawing board with a new project I'm hoping to be ready for next week's Stitch Shop appearance.
